Norfolkline say cheers to Arthur Guinness
Norfolkline today confirmed that it seeing a strong increase in bookings and enquiries, as thousands of revellers prepare to celebrate Arthur’s Day in Dublin, the home of Guinness, who are marking their 250th Anniversary with a huge party that will be shared around the world.
Norfolkline sail straight across the Irish Sea from Liverpool (Birkenhead) into the Port of Dublin, the heart of Dublin.
The 24th of September is one day not to be missed, as brewery giants Guinness have pledged to mark the occasion by donating six million Euros to the Arthur Guinness fund set up to honour Arthur Guinness legendary philanthropical work in Ireland.
The City of Dublin is preparing for an influx of visitors looking to raise a pint to celebrate Arthur Guinness Day. Some of the World’s biggest bands will be playing on Thursday on stages in the cities most famous bars and venues. Other pubs around Dublin will also be holding toasts to the 250th anniversary of Arthur Guinness at 17:59 hours.
