Rosyth by Norfolkline ferry
Since May 2009 Norfolkline has offered the only direct ferry service from Scotland to Europe. This ferry service will operate direct from Rosyth to Zeebrugge.
Norfolkline’s direct ferry service from Zeebrugge takes you to the town of Rosyth, perched on the coastline of Scotland’s Kingdom of Fife with its abundance of historic houses and palaces, including Dunfermline Abbey and Palace, clearly visible on the skyline.
Arriving in Rosyth at 13.00 (local time), you will be fully refreshed after a relaxing night onboard and ready to begin your onward journey into Scotland.
Just 12 miles south, across the famous Forth Road Bridge, the unique capital city of Edinburgh offers a fine blend of traditional and contemporary culture from the historic Edinburgh Castle, cobbled streets and sound of bagpipes to the diverse range of museums, galleries, trendy bars and high street shopping.
Beyond the city, the Lothians have a wealth of attractions to tempt you, from East Lothian’s beautiful coastline and beaches, to Rosslyn Chapel in Midlothian, made famous in Dan Brown’s book, ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and the film of the same name.
To the north of Rosyth, the Kingdom of Fife offers an abundance of natural Scottish charm with countless beauty spots, award-winning beaches and idyllic seaside towns along the East Neuk coastline. Known as the ‘Home of Golf’, Fife boasts over 100 world-class courses in some of the most scenic locations by the sea and on beautiful parkland, not to mention the renowned Old Course in St. Andrews.
For those looking to explore even more of Scotland, Rosyth is the ideal base for travellers. Offering easy access to the major motorway networks across the country, destinations such as Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk and the Borders are just waiting to be discovered.
