Canterbury Pupils Win Cross-Channel Ferry Crossings

DFDS Seaways’ (formerly Norfolkline) Dover - Dunkirk ferry mascot, Captain Jesper, has awarded three lucky pupils from Goodnestone Primary School near Canterbury, with free VIP ferry crossings after coming first in the company’s Operation Dynamo Colouring Competition.

The special prizes awarded by the Dover – Dunkirk ferry captain went to 10 year old pupils, Dragos Culica, Anya Falconer and Evelyn Woodland.

Theresa Foley, UK national sales manager at DFDS Seaways, said: “We were really pleased to have had so many excellent entries to our competition, which we ran during the Operation Dynamo 70th anniversary sailing. All the entries were brilliant, but these three really shone through!”

Each winner received a VIP ferry crossing on the company’s Dover to Dunkirk route for a car and up to four people. Special goody bags were also given to all the pupils who entered the competition.
