Norfolkline received the 25th Anglo-Dutch Award for Enterprise
November 14th, 2006
We are pleased to announce that Norfolkline has been awarded with the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) Trophy at the 25th Anglo-Dutch Awards for Enterprise ceremony.
The awards were presented at the end of the 115th Annual lunch of the NBCC, which took place in the beautiful Kasteel de Wittenburg in Wassenaar on Friday November 10th, 2006. This year the awards were presented by Mr. Jeroen van der Veer, CEO of Royal Dutch Shell, who also addressed the audience with the key-note speech at the beginning of the ceremony.
Since their inception in 1981, the Anglo-Dutch Awards for Enterprise have achieved a high measure of recognition in the English and Dutch economy for rewarding each year the companies that have shown an outstanding enterprising spirit in the Anglo-Dutch trade or an Anglo-Dutch venture on third markets.
The nominated companies are judged by a distinguished panel of adjudicators, who made their decision based on each company's achievements and evidence that their business stands out from the competition in the Anglo-Dutch trade.
Norfolkline Managing Director, Thomas Woldbye, received the trophy sponsored by the NBCC itself from Mr. Van der Veer for Norfolkline's outstanding progression shown in the recent years and Norfolkline's ability to identify and constantly pursue new market opportunities.
